TENTERFIELD RAILWAY MUSEUM

Being stuck out in the bush where the powers that be have decided that we don't deserve among other things trains. One can get excited at things that city folk would barley raise an eyebrow too.
On a work experience outing to Tenterfield this weekend I once again visited the local railway station .Which has a really good collection of rolling stock and a station full of interesting items which is well worth a visit if you happen to be travelling through these parts.(squeal like a pig )

Which I thought I would share with you for your viewing pleasure.

And now for something to think about .Is this a boogie sheep van or a 4 wheel sheep van?

  2. The sheep van appears to be a Queensland Railways body, mounted on a NSW 2AE bogie!

  3. Been there myself recently (every now and then us Big Smokers need to see what we are missing out on) and I thought the TRM was a great visit. Nice to see the Bren Gun Carrier complete and loaded onto a wagon - really looks the part now.
